How long will the process take?

For Search Engine Optimization (SEO) you will typically see results from services provided by Granular Solutions within 30-45 days of an agreement with continuing improvement as time progresses.

SEM is the fastest – a review, account set-up/submission and launch of a Pay-Per-Click marketing plan can be executed within one business week. Clicks will start coming in right away.

SEO takes longer – a review, technical changes, and launch of a new improved site can be executed in 1-2 business weeks, and you will see traffic increases will take up to 4-6 weeks.

For companies competing in the marketplace, many new business leads come directly from search engines. If the service you are providing, the products you are selling, the message you want to broadcast isn’t easily found by the top search engines, it is unlikely to be found by your audience. By coming up as a top result in natural and paid search engines, your customer finds you, not your competitor.

How much will this cost me?

It depends on the size of your site and the underlying technology. Some points to consider:

• A dynamically generated site (i.e., using a database to display page content) takes a bit more time than a static site (built entirely in HTML) and a site completely built in Flash takes the longest of all three types of website.

• How many pages and how many products or services need to be optimized?

• How competitive is the landscape for keywords? Financial services products and realtor/real estates sites are very competitive, but local contractors, salons, and hardware stores are less so.
